Endodontic Therapy in Miami

When the root of a tooth becomes infected or decayed, or an infection or abscess develops on the inside of the tooth, a person likely needs root canal treatment from an dentist or endodontist. You may choose to receive a root canal therapy to remove the living tissue, nerves, bacteria, and decay from a tooth and filling it with medicated dental materials in order to save the tooth. At Dental Specialists of Doral Group, our root canal therapies are affordable, but we know dentistry can still be expensive, so we have effectively fused our services with financial institutions that can help you finance your dental treatment. We offer our endodontic dental care services to the communities of Doral, Fontainebleau, Miami Beach, Kendall, Sweetwater, Weschestern, and Miami Florida.

What to expect at Dental Specialsits of Doral Group

Usually only one visit is required to complete your root canal treatment, however sometimes, two visits are necessary to effectively kill all the infection. When you come to our dental office for your root canal evaluation, and you are ready to get your root canal treatment done, one of our dentists will first numb the tooth and place a sheet of rubber (rubberdam – if necessary) around the tooth to keep it dry during the procedure. Our dentist will create an access opening at the top of a tooth, removing the pulp, nerve tissue, bacteria, and decay. Once the canal is clean, our dentist will cover it with a filling to protect while you await for your dental crown (if necessary). All teeth that receive root canal treatment should get a crown to protect the tooth.

Why Should I Get Dental Veneers?

Here are some common causes of root canals pain:

  • Tooth decay that has penetrated the outer layers of the teeth causes root canal pain.
  • Cracks or chips in teeth can cause tooth decay and root canal pain.
  • Risk factors for infection in the tooth pulp include severe tooth decay, trauma to the tooth, recent dental procedures, large fillings, and cracks or chips in the teeth. If the cause of your teeth pain is serious decay or infection in the tooth pulp, your dentist may recommend a root canal.
